An automatic pet feeder with a bird-inspired, penguin shape, designed to make feeding time more approachable and inviting for pets while being functional and space-efficient.
The Problem
Current automatic pet feeders often appear unapproachable or intimidating to pets, making it difficult for them to feel comfortable interacting with them.
The Consequences
If feeders appear intimidating, pets may resist using them, leading to feeding disruptions and increased stress.
Development
Radpid sketching and ideation led to multiple different feeders inspired by different birds. The final design, that went on to further development, is inspired by a penguin.
Detachable Bowl
The bowl is easily detached for easy cleaning.
Rechargeable
A USB-C port is fitted on the back down a channel so the feeder can remain flush to a wall even when plugged in.
